Featuring a super safe fold-out, recessed blade film cutter, the S5 offers extreme versatility and is a natural complement to the production environment. Users can safely cut plastic shrink wrap on pallets, then cut box flaps and begin stocking merchandise, all with the same safe tool. Made from rigid metal, the S5's protective guard will not break or bend, covering the blade at all times during top cutting operations to protect the user. The guard also works as a guide for a perfect cut every time, setting the optimal angle to eliminate damaged product.

Utilizing the heavy-duty tape splitter, users can open most boxes without exposure to blades, avoiding dulling of the cutting edges. The S5 offers three blade depth positions: top cut, shallow tray cut, and deep cut, as well as a super easy blade change with storage for up to 5 blades. Purchased with a corresponding holster (UKH-423) and optional lanyard (CL-36), the S5 includes one SP-017 safety point blade. Designed for right-handed users only, this uniquely-structured steel guard ensures safe, precise cutting without flexing, bending, or breaking like other cutters, serving as a guide for executing the perfect cut every time.

The ergonomically designed handle includes a fold-out, recessed blade film cutter that is perfect for safely cutting shrink-wrap, plastic straps, twine, and more. This film cutter is also replaceable when the blade becomes dull. The sturdy metal bladeless tape splitter safely and easily slices through even reinforced fiber tape, avoiding exposure to blades while cutting tape, which further prevents injuries and extends the life of the blades.
